SEARSPORT – Miles Davee’s run-scoring double and Noah Burke’s run-scoring single keyed a three-run first inning and six pitchers combined on a five-hitter as the Waldo Wildcats rolled past the Calais Suns 9-1 in an American Legion baseball game Monday.
Davee had a pair of doubles and scored twice. Josh Nickerson and Tyler Miles had two singles apiece and Tyson McHatten belted a solo homer.
Tom Pottle singled twice for the Suns and Josh Francis singled and scored the Calais run.

At Ellsworth, Mark Poulin singled twice to drive in four runs as Penquis held off Trenton.
Eric Day added a pair of singles for the Navigators.
Phinneas Peake led the Acadians with two singles and a double, driving in three runs. Andy Pooler had an RBI double and RBI single.

At Lincoln, Joel Neill knocked a grand slam to key an eight-run second inning for the River Dogs in the win.
Chris Morris hit an RBI double while Pat Stephens singled three times. Shawn Smith and Tim Kenerson each doubled and singled for Hampden.
Cory Barnett had an RBI double and RBI single for the Lumber while Everett Houghton and Aaron Flannery each had a double, single and RBI.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Gordon Webb’s RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted Bangor past Presque Isle.
Ian Edwards added an RBI single in the fourth and Kyle Vanidestine singled twice for the Comrades.
Pat Thibodeau had two singles for Presque Isle and Logan York added a single.
