PORTLAND – The Boston Red Sox promoted outfielder Tyler Minges from Double-A Portland to Triple-A Pawtucket and recalled outfielder Matt Van Der Bosch to Portland from Pawtucket.

Minges, 26, joined the Sea Dogs May 8 after being transferred from Pawtucket. In 58 games with Portland, he batted .308 with 23 doubles and 39 runs batted in.

Matt Van Der Bosch was placed on the disabled list by Portland June 18 and was activated and transferred to Pawtucket July 5.
