Air Force Reserve Airman Andrew K. Lowe has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He is the son of Donald and Luann Lowe of Union Street, Bangor. Lowe is a 2005 graduate of the Calvary Chapel Christian School, Orrington.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Benjamin J. Dixon has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is the son of Patricia Blethen of Parkview Avenue, Bangor. Dixon is a 2005 graduate of Bangor High School.
