MADAWASKA – Sharif Abouleish and Jordan Gard each tallied a goal to lead the Houlton boys past Madawaska 2-1 in Friday night soccer action.

Chris Howland assisted on Abouleish’s goal for 1-0 Houlton. Eben Thompson made 10 saves on 11 shots for the Shiretowners.

Madawaska scored on an own-goal by Houlton and Chad Bechard made 11 saves on 13 shots for the 0-2 Owls.
