A special election will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, upstairs at the Meeting House. Voters will elect a new selectman, as well as cast ballots on three warrant articles. Two candidates, Wayne Allard and Sydney Beem, are running for the remaining one-year selectman term. The warrant articles include changing the board of selectmen from a three-person group to a group of five. The two other warrant articles involve the construction of a sand and salt shed and the sale of town-owned waterfront property.
