Heather Ernest

Heather Ernest of the University of Maine has been selected as the America East, Spalding rookie of the week. The Temple native averaged 20.5 points and 15 rebounds per game, scoring 23 points and pulling down 14 rebounds in a game against Drexel.

Kristi Royer

Kristi Royer, a sophomore at Bowdoin College, has been selected as one of the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association players of the week as well as a New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Royer, a forward, averaged 19.3 points and 12.3 rebounds per game while shooting 69 percent from the field.

Erin Shaw

Erin Shaw of the University of Southern Maine has been named one of the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association players of the week. Shaw, a senior guard, averaged 21 points, 3 rebounds and five assists per game while shooting 56 percent from the floor.

Cassie Turcotte

Cassie Turcotte, a senior forward at St. Joseph’s College has been named the Hammond Lumber player of the week. Turcotte averaged 19.5 points per game in a 2-0 week, scoring 27 points in a win over Thomas.

Rachel Larlee

Rachel Larlee, a freshman at the University of Maine at Presque Isle has been selected as the Hammond Lumber rookie of the week. Larlee averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds per game in a 3-0 week.

Scott Raymond

Scott Raymond of Thomas College has been chosen as the Webber Energy player of the week. Raymond, a senior forward, averaged 27 points per game, scoring 38 in a game against St. Joseph’s.

Ken Ralph

Ken Ralph, a freshman at the University of Maine at Machias, has been named the Webber Energy player of the week. Ralph averaged 14.5 points per game and pulled down 23 rebounds in a game against Unity.

Matt Clement

Matt Clement of the Maine Maritime Academy men’s basketball team has been chosen as one of the North Atlantic Conference player of the week.
