Calais beats East Grand

DANFORTH – Courtney Hill scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Calais girls soccer team to a 6-0 high school victory over East Grand Thursday.

Honor Wilkinson and Kayla Cobb each notched a goal and an assist, and Ashley Allen and Breanna Black had a goal apiece. Stephanie Perry made six saves on 13 shots for the 2-0 Blue Devils.

Courtney Lloyd made 37 saves on 68 shots for the 0-3 Vikings.

George Stevens 2, Orono 0

At Orono, Maddi Park notched a goal to lead George Stevens of Blue Hill past Orono.

George Stevens was credited with an own-goal when the ball deflected in the net off an Orono player. Kayla Eaton made nine saves on 18 shots for the 2-0 Eagles.

Britney Pinkham made seven saves on 14 shots for the 1-1 Red Riots.

JV: GSA 3-0

Bucksport 5, Hermon 0

At Hermon, Madi Daigle netted two goals and Keely Sullivan and Lindsey Gordon each tallied a goal and an assist to lead Bucksport past Hermon.

Emily Lenor added a goal and Chelsea Johnson and Meg Lalonde added an assist apiece for the 2-1 Golden Bucks. Katie Hurd saved the only shot she faced.

Danielle Ross made nine saves on 26 shots for the 0-2-1 Hawks.

Bangor Christian 4, Central 0

At Bangor, Morgan Chasse tallied two goals as Bangor Christian cruised past Central.

Adrienne Ricci and Kelly Robinson each scored a goal for the 2-0 Patriots. Kristen Peterson notched two assists and Katharine Bragg added another. Moriah Bach and Morgan Staples combined to make six saves on eight shots.

Jessica Daniel made 14 saves on 21 shots for the 1-2 Red Devils.

Calvary Chapel 12, Averill 1

At Orrington, Faith Thomas netted four goals to lead Calvary Chapel past Averill of Hinckley.

Ashley Pomeroy and Brittany Lowe tallied three goals apiece for the 2-0 Sabers. Leah Mattson and Meagan Kattel added a goal apiece. Hannah Lacadie made two saves on three shots.

Dorothy Leighton scored for 0-2 Averill. Tiffany Cookson stopped 18 of 30 shots.

Penobscot Valley 2, Dexter 1

At Dexter, Mindy Dolley scored a pair of second-half goals, including the game-winner with 15:10 remaining as the Howlers of Howland rallied for the win.

Maranda Gove gave the 1-1-1 Tigers a 1-0 halftime lead off an assist from Alexis Mitchell.

Dolley now has five goals on the season for 2-0 Penobscot Valley.

Katahdin 3, Schenck 0

At Stacyville, Ronni Robinson scored two goals and assisted on a third as Katahdin gained the shutout victory.

Robinson, a senior, scored two unassisted goals in the first half, then assisted as sister Mary-Jo Robinson, a sophomore, scored in the second half.

Kayla Stevens made seven saves on nine shots in goal for Katahdin. Toni Thompson stopped 20 of 28 shots for Schenck of East Millinocket.

Field hockey

Belfast 6, Erskine 0

At South China, Brooke Reed, Jill Ross and Briana Curry each tallied a goal and an assist as Belfast rolled past Erskine.

Skye Ellis, Britt Cummings and Claire Banks added a goal, and Kallie Aldus chipped in an assist for the 3-0 Lions. Liz Anderson saved all four shots she faced.

Mary Middleton made 15 saves on 21 shots for the 2-1 Eagles.

JV: Belfast 1-0

Camden Hills 5, Rockland 0

At Rockland, Laura Schelble scored two goals and assisted on another as Camden Hills downed Rockland.

Amanda Kava and Kate Fetterman each tallied a goal and an assist, and Megan Bauer added a goal for the 2-1 Windjammers. Brittney Tyler chipped in an assist and Dale Winsper saved all seven shots she faced.

Melissa Rahkonen made four saves on 12 shots for the 0-3 Tigers.

Piscataquis 3, Central 2

At Guilford, Kelsey Martel, Hattie Agnew and Ashley Davis each scored a goal to lead Piscataquis over Central.

Kellie Martel tallied two assists and Jessica Pratt made eight saves on 11 shots for the 3-0 Pirates.

Maddie Dunakin and Aliza Underhill notched a goal apiece for the 1-1-1 Red Devils. Sam Morin made five saves on 11 shots.

Bangor 3, Brewer 1

At Bangor, Alyssa Pelkey, Nicole Legere and Emily Quinn each scored a goal to lead Bangor past Brewer.

Jennie Foley tallied an assist for the 1-2 Rams. Mikaela Marshall-Holmes and Hilary Babin combined to make nine saves on 11 shots.

Brittany Albert scored the lone goal for the 0-3 Witches. Angela Patterson made 12 saves on 24 shots.

JV: Bangor 4-0

Mattanawcook 3, Hermon 1

At Hermon, Michelle Paul scored two goals on two Deni Nicastro assists as Mattanawcook downed Hermon.

Bree Hanscom scored on an assist from Kim Dovrin, and Sarah French made four saves on five shots for the 2-1 Lynx.

Christine Reynolds notched a goal on an Amanda Page assist for the 0-3 Hawks. Carrie Cole made 12 saves on 15 shots.

Boys soccer

Calvary Chapel 10, Islesboro 0

At Islesboro, Rosaire Veilleux scored three goals and Alex Merrill added two as Calvary Chapel rolled to victory.

John Burke and Luke Thomas each added a goal and three assists for the 2-0 winners. Beau Miller, Tim Arbo, and River Robertson added a goal apiece and Ian Seekins made 11 saves on 11 shots.

For 0-2 Islesboro, Mike Pisiotlo made 22 saves on 32 shots.

Katahdin 3, Schenck 0

At Stacyville, Marshall Davis scored two goals and Andy Kay added a goal and an assist to lead Katahdin past Schenck.

Matt Tarr made eight saves no 10 shots for the 4-1 Cougars.

Lanny Thompson made 15 saves on 24 shots for the 0-1 Wolverines.

Limestone 8, Wisdom 1

At Limestone, Chris Kirchner scored four goals, two in each half, to power Limestone Community School/Maine School of Science and Mathematics past Wisdom.

Bo Li added two goals for the 2-7 Eagles and Alex Stevens notched a goal and an assist. Justin King chipped in with a goal and Ryan Dionne, Michael Allen and Justin Clayton each recorded an assist. A.J. Rossignol made six saves on 12 shots.

For 0-8 Wisdom of St. Agatha, Kurtis Daigle scored unassisted and Curtis Collin made 13 saves on 26 shots.

Washburn 5, Fort Fairfield 1

At Washburn, Matt Connolly netted two goals and assisted on another to lead Washburn past Fort Fairfield.

Caio Holland added two goals and Adam Thompson had three assists. Ethan Doody chipped in a goal and Alex McIntosh had an assist. Shayne Stevens made six saves on 12 shots for the 5-2-1 Beavers.

Brian Andrews notched a goal and Jordan Buhro made nine saves on 20 shots for the Tigers.

Ashland 7, Central Aroostook 1

At Ashland, Carl Nemer netted two goals and added an assist to lead Ashland past Central Aroostook of Mars Hill.

Tyler Cote tallied a goal and three assists. Isaac Ward, Jeremy Tarr, Jesse Martin and Chris Good each scored a goal for the 4-1-1 Hornets. Kevin Baker made seven saves on 13 shots.

Manny Martinez scored on a Shawn Walling assist for the 8-1-1 Panthers. Logan McCarthy made 10 saves on 22 shots.

Houlton 5, Hodgdon 0

At Hodgdon, Jordan Gard scored a pair of goals to lead the Shiretowners past the Hawks.

Alex Mooers, Ben Austin and Chris Howland added a goal apiece for Houlton. Eben Thompson had four saves on five shots.

Jamie Ryan saved eight of 16 shots for Hodgdon.

Caribou 5, Madawaska 0

At Caribou, Jarryd Rossignol netted three goals as Caribou cruised past Madawaska.

Kyle Corrigan tallied a goal and an assist and Danny Rush had a goal. Jon Noyes notched an assist and Chad McCarthy made six saves on eight shots for the 4-2 Vikings.

Andrew Levesque made 10 saves on 16 shots for the 3-6-1 Owls.

JV: Caribou 3-1
