BUCKSPORT – Brad Bellemare carried the ball 20 times for 124 yards and two touchdowns to help lead unbeaten Foxcroft Academy by Bucksport 30-0 in Saturday football action.

Ben Provost had 11 carries for 94 yards and a touchdown while Ian Imbert rushed for a four-yard score. David White was 2-for-5 passing with 63 yards.

The Ponies had a total 308 yards rushing and 371 total yards of offence.

Chris Maguire carried the ball 12 times for 42 yards. Bucksport had 78 yards rushing and 109 total yards of offence.

At Readfield, the visiting Purple Panthers scored on their first six possessions and passed the 300-yard rushing mark for the third straight game with 334.

Mike Bernhardt rushed for 140 of his 148 yards in the first half and scored one TD. Caleb Johnston had two TDs and 61 yards rushing on seven carries. Shawn Stetson caught a touchdown pass in the second quarter and then returned an interception 30 yards for another TD in the third.

For the Maranacook Black Bears, Corey Allen led the way with a 72-yard touchdown run en route to 107 yards rushing.

At Poulin Field in Winslow, the host Black Raiders remained unbeaten as two running backs went over the 100-yard mark and their quarterback passed for another 155.

The Raiders accumulated almost 600 yards in total offense with Justin Lindie leading the way individually with 147 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries. Cory Bezanson had two TDs and 105 yards rushing. Stephen Siviski completed six of seven passes, threw for three TD’s and also rushed three times for 75 yards and another score.

The only score for the Coyotes came on Jarrett Lukas’ 70-yard TD run in the second half.
