STANDISH – Heather Stanger scored the game-winner in the 35th minute to propel the Saint Joseph’s College women’s soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Maine Maritime Academy Tuesday.
Megan Willette and Katie Jordan added a goal apiece for 3-2 St. Joseph’s. Monica Cuda had one save on six shots.
Diana Manatt-Rogers scored for the 1-2-1 Mariners. Jessica Hewitt stopped three out of nine shots.
Thomas 5, Unity 0
At Waterville, Brittany Morin tallied three goals to lead Thomas College. Karen Demers and Julia Nyitray notched a goal apiece for the Terriers. Shannon Proctor had two saves.
Christine Blakesly recorded 13 saves for Unity.

St. Joseph’s 2, MMA 1
At Standish, Doug MacCallum scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 107th minute to lead St. Joseph’s College. David Hakes and Kenny Kehow each tallied an assist. Greg Cavanaugh made seven saves on 11 shots for the 3-3 Monks.
Alan Alexander scored on an Ed Menchaca assist for the 0-4-1 Mariners of Castine. Josh Heath made six saves on 17 shots.
SMCC 5, EMCC 0
At South Portland, Jeff Normand, Casey Cribby, Matt Davis, Eben Mann and Jason Wentworth netted a goal apiece as Southern Maine Community College shut out Eastern Maine Community College.
Jay Herwick saved nine out of 33 shots for Eastern Maine CC of Bangor.
Bowdoin 4, Southern Maine 0
At Gorham, Nick Figueiredo converted a pair of penalty kicks and Hugh Fleming came off the bench to score two goals to lead Bowdoin past Southern Maine.
Chris Willard made four saves on 22 shots for the 4-4 Huskies.
