CARIBOU – The Maine Winter Sports Center is sponsoring a youth training mini camp on Monday, Oct. 15 at the 10th Mountain Ski Center in Fort Kent.

The minicamp, which is free and open to children in the 10-to-14 age range, starts at 1 p.m. Children who live close to Caribou and Presque Isle will be transported from the MWSC’s Caribou office. Transportation will leave at noon. The day ends at 5 p.m. and children can be picked up at 6 p.m. in Caribou.

The day will consist of a variety of warm-up and introductory exercises and a biathlon race. For more information or to reserve a transportation space from Caribou, call John Farra at 227-3843.
