BANGOR – Bangor Parks and Recreation will hold a pool fun day for children ages 6-12 starting at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Augs. 10, at the Dakin Pool on Pine Street.

There will be activities, games and prizes including an old-clothes relay, pingpong relay, watermelon toss and greased watermelon contest as well as free swim time throughout the afternoon.
