BANGOR – Designing Women, a local crafts guild, will show its fine art and crafts items at a new location this weekend, the Dyke Center for Family Business at Husson College, where ample parking is available. In previous years, the show was held at the Main Street Holiday Inn.
The Designing Women show is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. Admission is a $2 donation, which will benefit Spruce Run, the agency that serves those affected by domestic abuse.

The Designing Women guild was established in 1991 by a group of artisans who wanted to give back to the community by supporting women’s organizations.
