In Augusta people know and respect Kevin Raye and, perhaps the most important part for the people of Washington County, they listen to him. We have but one senator in Augusta, one voice in the Senate, when areas such as southern Maine have many more.

As Washington County faces some of its most difficult times in rising property taxes, diminishing school funds and suffering economic conditions, now more than ever we need the leader-ship of a true believer in the people of this county.

I’ve had the pleasure of watching Sen. Raye testify in Augusta on numerous issues, from saving the Boat School in Eastport to fighting for economic investments for all of Washington County. Sen. Raye is our lone voice in the Senate, but we could not ask for a better one.
