Army National Guard Sgt. Karri L. Bennett was appointed First Sergeant of Joint Forces Headquarters Maine Element. Bennett lives in Littleton with her husband Sgt. 1st Class Trevor Bennett.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Army National Guard Pvt. Derrick Piper graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson.

A 2006 graduate of Nokomis Regional High School in Newport, Piper is the son of David and Julie Piper of Newport.
