SAN DIEGO – Bangor native Marcus Davis defeated Shonie Carter by unanimous decision for his seventh straight victory Wednesday night in the Ultimate Fighting Championship Fight Night.

The three-round bout was shown on the Spike TV network and took place at a Marine Corps Air Station Miramar hangar.

Davis, 33, improved his UFC record to 16-4.
