BANGOR – The largest annual celebration of Kwanzaa in Maine will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bangor, 120 Park St.

Come learn about the history and purpose of Kwanzaa, which starts Tuesday, Dec. 26, and see a colorful set up with all the necessary things for the seven-day celebration. There will be food and music to enjoy.
