Ashland edges Warriors Belanger powers Hornets past Southern Aroostook

DYER BROOK – Curtis Belanger scored six of his team-high 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Ashland Hornets earned a narrow 48-45 high school boys basketball victory over Southern Aroostook Wednesday.

Carl Nemer added nine points and Jeremy Tarr eight for Ashland.

Colby Clark paced Southern Aroostook with a game-high 21 points.
