FARMINGTON – Eileen Flaherty scored 18 points to lead Bowdoin College to a 65-46 women’s basketball victory over the University of Maine-Farmington Wednesday night.

The win was the 200th collegiate victory for Polar Bear coach Stefanie Pemper.

Alexa Kaubris scored 12 points for Bowdoin and Julia Loonin added 11. Katie Cummings recorded seven steals.

Kari Simpson paced the Beavers with 19 points and Caitlyn Laflin added 11 points.

Ashley Brooker netted 15 points while Michelle Phillips added 12. Liza Maynard and Anna Lenentine each had 11 points while Nicole Russell chipped in with 10 for the Owls.

Sara Wells scored 10 points to pace the Clippers.
