The Maine Maritime senior guard earned NAC women’s basketball Player of the Week honors. She averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Mariners won two games.

Genevieve Turgeon earned Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week honors. The UMaine goalie made 98 saves in two losses to New Hampshire.

USM’s Ashley Marble was named Little East women’s basketball Player of the Week. She averaged 28.6 points and 13.6 rebounds in three Huskies wins.

Nicole Paradis

Nicole Paradis of USM was named Little East women’s basketball Rookie of the Week. She averaged 9.6 points and 4.6 assists as the Huskies won three games last week.

Pat Hogan

USM wrestler Pat Hogan earned Little East Rookie of the Week honors. Competing in the 184-pound division, he earned three wins at the Trinity Dual last weekend.

Ashley Ames

UM-Fort Kent’s Ashley Ames earned Sunrise Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week honors. She averaged 20.4 points and 15.7 rebounds in a 2-1 Bengals’ week.

Jimmy Lopez

UM-Fort Kent freshman Jimmy Lopez was named Sunrise Conference men’s basketball Rookie of the Week. He averaged 22.5 points in two conference wins.

Curtis Wheeler

USM’s Curtis Wheeler earned Little East Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. His 8 minute, 34.67 second performance in the 3,000 broke the school record.

Emily Artesani

The USM freshman was named Little East Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. She won the 200 and 400 in 28.06 and 1:03.46 at the USM Invitational last weekend.
