BRUNSWICK – Bowdoin College outscored Maine Maritime 28-8 in the second half to pull away for a 72-47 men’s basketball victory over Maine Maritime Academy Monday.

Andrew Hippert led the 10-6 Polar Bears with 18 points and Kyle Jackson added 15 and six steals. Kevin Bradley chipped in 12 points.

For the 7-8 Mariners, Brandon Hall recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds and Derek DiFrederico added 11 points.

At Newman Gym in Bangor, Sesoo Ikpah tossed in 25 points to lead the Lee Academy Postgrads to victory.

Dorian Williams scored 19 points, Jeff Britto netted 15 and Corey Bingham added 10.

Chris Coffin led the Husson JVs with 18 points. Joe Kane scored 12 points, while C.J. Hodges and Devan Philbrick added 10 points each.
