Ashley Marble of USM was named Little East women’s basketball Player of the Week, as well as Women’s D-III News Player of the Week. She averaged 18 points and 14 rebounds in two Huskies’ wins.

UM-Fort Kent’s Ashley Ames was named Sunrise Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week. She averaged 14 points and 13 rebounds in three games last week.

David Butler

David Butler of UM-Machias was named Sunrise Conference men’s basketball Player of the Week. He averaged 24 points and 17 rebounds in two conference wins.

Jimmy Lopez

Jimmy Lopez of UM-Fort Kent was named Sunrise Conference men’s basketball Rookie of the Week. He averaged 19 points per game and hit a game-winning shot against UM-Presque Isle.

Caitlyn Laflin

Caitlyn Laflin of UMaine-Farmington was named MWBCA Player of the Week, as well as NAC Player of the Week. She averaged 20 points and 8 rebounds in leading the Beavers to three wins over the last week.

Stephanie Bossie

UMaine-Farmington freshman Stephanie Bossie was named MWBCA Rookie of the Week. She averaged 11 points and 6 rebounds in a 3-0 week for the Beavers.

USM’s Steve Valastro was named Little East Wrestler of the Week. He won both his matches via pin over the weekend.
