Concert to benefit Camp CaPella

BANGOR – Rick Charette will perform a collection of children’s music to benefit United Cerebral Palsy’s Camp CaPella at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at Eastern Maine Community College’s Johnston Gymnasium. Tickets are $8.

As a singer and songwriter, Rick Charette has been capturing the hearts and spirits of young and old alike with his delightful and inspiring children’s songs. His performances blend original contemporary pop music and lyrics with imaginative activities that generate all kinds of audience participation.

For the past 52 years, United Cerebral Palsy of Maine has assisted children and adults with all sorts of disabilities and their families. Innovative programs serve people with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, spina bifida, attention deficit disorder, autism, mental illnesses and others. UCP services include early childhood education, respite care, occupational and physical therapy, residential housing, case management and in-home support.
