RAYMOND – A Raymond woman died Friday in a one-car accident on Route 85, authorities said.

Theresa Murphy, 68, was headed south at around 6:30 a.m. when she lost control of the car, which veered across the opposite lane and rolled over twice, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department said.

Murphy was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate.
