Pandas cruise past Warriors

LEE – Karin Bird posted 21 points and seven steals to carry Lee Academy past Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook 62-47 in a Class D girls basketball matchup Wednesday.

Amanda Gifford netted 14 points for the Pandas while Dana Houghton added 12.

Kaylea Collier scored 13 points to pace the Warriors while Shana Martin chipped in with 11.

Aaron Healey led three John Bapst players in double figures with 15 points. Ethan Cushman notched 12 for the Crusaders and Charlie Merritt 10.
