ORONO – Police want drivers who use Forest Avenue today to slow down as they approach Taylor Road and be on the lookout for cross country skiers on the road.

The Caribou Bog Race is planned today, and racers are expected to be crossing Forest Avenue between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Police said a crowd may form in the area where the skiers will be crossing, warranting even more caution.
