At Chattanooga, Tenn., Emily Gouge struck out 11 and walked none as Bowling Green beat the University of Maine 2-0 in the first game of the day. Miami University of Ohio defeated the Black Bears 8-2 in the second game.
In the first game, Ashley Zirkle doubled and singled for Bowling Green.
Whitney Spangler, Kristie Hawkins, Alexis Souhlaris and Melinda Corssino singled for 0-2 Maine.
In the second game, Breanna Robinson hit a pinch-hit grand slam in the fifth inning for Miami of Ohio.
Tara Vilardo tripled and scored for the Bears and Spangler singled and drove in a run.
