Navy Cmdr. Charles Morgan is deployed in Baghdad as a member of the Multinational Security Transition Command-Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

A 1975 graduate of Marshwood High School in Eliot and 1997 graduate of the University of Maine at Machias, Morgan is the son of Dorothy Morgan of South Berwick. His wife, Deborah, is the daughter of Richard and Janeth Becker of Eliot.
