President Lincoln lecture topic at COA

BAR HARBOR – Jamie McGown, an Abraham Lincoln scholar, will give a presentation on the former president at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, in McCormick Lecture Hall at the College of the Atlantic.

The lecture, titled “Revisiting Lincoln: Using Fear and Conspiracy to Build the Republican Party,” will focus on Lincoln’s use of fear and conspiracy theory to position himself as a leading candidate.
