An Orland man has become a member of the board of the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office, located at UN Plaza in New York. Kent Price was elected recording secretary of the board. He also will serve as co-chairman of the board’s communications committee. A recognized nongovernmental organization with consultative status with the UN’s Economic and Social Council, the office is the Unitarian Universalist Association’s official representative to the United Nations. Price is president of the Castine UU congregation and vice president of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Northeast District.
