FAIRFIELD – Jarrett Lukas hit a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to lead the Old Town Coyotes to a 3-2 high school baseball victory over the Lawrence Bulldogs Saturday.
Lucas also added an RBI single in the first inning to drive home all of Old Town’s runs.
Tyler Honey added a double and a run scored, while Tyler Cates singled and scored a run for the Coyotes.
Dana Leland earned the pitching victory with three innings of no-hit relief, striking out three.
Jack Hersom singled twice and scored a run for Lawrence, while Devin Raven also singled twice.
Jack Flynn pitched a complete-game-five-hitter for the Bulldogs, scattering five hits while striking out eight batters.

At Hampden, Evan Farley struck out eight and added a double to lead Hampden past Nokomis of Newport.
Joel Neill doubled and drove in two runs and Ryan McCluskey singled twice and had an RBI. Josh Tardiff smacked a triple for the winners.
Isaac Osborne led the Warriors with two singles.

MDI sweeps Presque Isle
At Bar Harbor, Ben Clark drove in nine runs with five hits as Mount Desert Island swept Presque Isle 13-0 and 18-1.
In the first game, Clark and Calvin Tweedie each doubled and singled with three RBIs.
Joseph Swanson doubled, singled and drove in two runs and Nick Swanson doubled and scored three runs.
Cassidy Bennett and Chris Beaulieu each singled for the Wildcats.
In the second game, Clark finished with two doubles, a single and six RBIs.
Justin Gilmartin recorded a triple, single and three RBIs and Peter Warrick drove in three runs and had a single. Mike Hamlin scored four runs.
Steve Ford smacked an RBI single for Presque Isle.

At Jonesport, Jon Johnson and Chris Potter had a combined 17 strikeouts to help lead Bangor Christian to victory.
Johnson also had a double and three RBIs, Potter also had three singles with two RBIs and Phil Dougherty singled twice with an RBI for Bangor Christian.
For Jonesport-Beals, Sean Milliken had 2 singles and an RBI, and Lucas Holmes had 2 singles and an RBI.

Washington Academy wins two
At East Machias, Bryce Colbeth recorded hit two doubles, two singles and drove in six runs to lead the Washington Academy Raiders to a 12-0 shutout of Machias and a 14-4 win over Woodland for their first two wins of the season.
In the first game, Dan Seamans tallied two RBIs on a single and a double for Washington Academy.
Takao Kurose chipped in with a double for the winners.
Mike Jenkins and Joe Whitney recorded a single apiece for the Bulldogs.
In the second game, Jeff Ramsdell belted a three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth and added a single for the Raiders.
Scott Boomer led the way for Woodland with three singles.
