BRIDGEWATER – Local residents will vote to fill one open seat on the Bridgewater Board of Selectmen during the June 12 election.

The seat was left vacant by Edgar Wheeler, who passed away in May, Town Manager Amanda Dow said Monday.

Four names will appear on the local ballot: H.M. Cates Finemore II, Max Parks, Daniel Wayne Bradbury and Dottie Wheeler. The winning candidate will serve for the two years remaining of Wheeler’s three-year term.

Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 12 at the town office.
