CASTINE – Maine Maritime Academy will hold a travel auction and gala at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at Harold Alfond Student Center in Castine.

Tickets are $35 per person or $150 for a table of six, by reservation.

MMA will also offer antique appraisals by Thomaston Place Auction Galleries between noon and 4 p.m. at the Castine town dock. There is a suggested $5 donation per item that is appraised or $20 per five items.
