BLUE HILL – The St. Francis Fair will be held 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Blue Hill Fairgrounds. The fair features a large yard sale, thousands of used books, food, crafts, music, gifts, a silent auction and flowers.
New this year will be hands-on flower arranging instructions for $10 or $15, depending on the size arrangement you make.
Children’s activities will include a supervised bounce house, a Blue Hill firetruck, a tractor pull and a petting zoo, a fortune teller, face painting, contests, races and dressing up and being photographed. There also will be a cordoned-off section equipped with toys, quilts and pillows, and baby sitters for the very young or tired.
For the second year, half the proceeds will benefit the Nichols Day Camp. Anyone wishing to volunteer for setup on Friday, July 20, or to help on fair day, contact the church office at 374-5200, or e-mail stfrancis@hypernet.com.
