Trundy, Seger Jr. prevail MacNevin collects Big Enduro victory

HERMON – The rains that washed out Speedway 95’s Wacky Wednesday racing program held back enough to allow the track to hold all the postponed races on Thursday.

Jason Trundy of Old Town and Bobby Seger Jr. of Frankfort won the Little Enduro class feature races. Trundy made his way to the front through lapped traffic to overtake leader Andrew Crosby of Hermon, who finished second. Keith Ogden, also of Old Town, was third. Fourth went to Travis Beal of Winterport while Rick Adams of Veazie was fifth.

In the other race, Ogden held the top spot for all but three laps, but a lapped car caused the lead pack to go three wide and forced Ogden off the track. Ogden recovered for second and Travis Beal was third, Rick Adams fourth, and Jason Trundy fifth.

Other race winners included Alvin MacNevin of Clifton in the Big Enduro race, Meagan Allen of Winterport in the Ladies race, and Jim Carr Jr. of Clifton in the Trucks division.
