. Topsham, Mt. Ararat High School, 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, and Thursday, Aug. 16. To register, call 729-7323.

. Bangor, 21 Bomarc Road, 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. To register, call 941-9494.

. Bridgton, Bridgton Memorial School, 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, and Thursday, Aug. 30. To register, call 647-5054, ext. 21.

Maine Driving Dynamics offers all drivers the opportunity to improve their defensive driving abilities. The five-hour course is based on the concept that crashes aren’t accidents, but are caused by human behaviors. Space is limited and registration is required. Local adult education programs and the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety sponsor the programs that are taught by a certified instructor.
