Art and architecture

BANGOR – Ames A/E, Architects and Engineers, will sponsor an after-hours event featuring the art of Paul Thibodeau, wine, light refreshments and conversation about sustainable architecture.

“This event is an opportunity to showcase Maine artist Paul Thibodeau and his work that reflects Maine’s sense of place,” said Brian Ames, AMES A/E senior principal and building services manager. “At the same time, AMES A/E is committed to the same ideas through our architecture and we hope to present that.”

Thibodeau has been capturing the beauty of the Maine outdoors for more than 30 years. His works include original watercolors, acrylics, limited edition prints, note cards and photographs of the Maine coast, Downeast lighthouses, Mount Katahdin at Baxter State Park and historic buildings of the Bangor area, including railway stations and trains.
