PRESQUE ISLE – The Nordic Heritage Sport Club will host an Introduction to Biathlon event Saturday starting at 4 p.m. with a range and rifle safety education class. The events will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a barbecue and bonfire at 6 p.m.

There will be a run-and-shoot biathlon, a walk-and-shoot biathlon, and a kids fun biathlon.

The race entry fee is $12 ($10 for club members) and the barbecue is $5 for adults and $3 for kids.
