DOVER-FOXCROFT – Chris McGinnis game-winning score on a wild pitch in the opener started UBS toward a sweep of Sunday’s doubleheader against Dovetail Furniture.
UBS won the first game 4-2 and Ian Lee’s three singles and two RBIs powered UBS to a 7-2 win in the second game.
In the first game, winning pitcher Pat Moran tied the game with an RBI fielder’s choice and also singled in a run. Jeff Miller added a pair of singles, and James Gray had an RBI single.
Abe Landry and Darren Spack each recorded a double for Dovetail.
In the second game, Lee’s two-run single highlighted a three-run first inning. Gray contributed a double, single, and two RBIs.
Josh Pelletier led Ddovetail with a double, and Roy Burdin posted an RBI single.

At Hermon, Mark Farnham allowed one unearned run, four hits and one walk while striking out six to lead Aerus Electrolux past Montville Sunday.
Aerus clinches the Bay League East Division with the win.
Randy Renaud doubled, singled and scored for Aerus and Nate Ellis had two singles and two runs scored.
Matt Nickerson singled, stole a base and scored a run for Montville.

At Belfast Sunday, Kenton Spaulding and Randy Harnden had two-run singles in a four-run fifth inning that erased a 3-2 deficit and gave the Freedom Generals their victory.
Spaulding had three singles and three runs-batted in for the winners, John Flynn doubled and singled and Nick Arthers singled twice and had an RBI.
Sam Adolphsen had two singles and two RBIs for Union Street and Joe Robicheau had an RBI double.

Dovetail sweeps Union Street
At Dover-Foxcroft on Saturday, Darren Spack’s RBI single in the first and two runs in the fifth on fielder’s choices propelled Dovetail Furniture to a sweep of Union Street Cleaners.
Dovetail won the opener 3-0 and the second game 11-0.
In the first game, Paul Lancisi struck out 10 for Dovetail.
Paul Lancisi, who singled for Dovetail’s other hit, struck out 10 and walked two to pick up the win.
Chad Lavway had a double and a single for Union Street Cleaners, and Joe Saucy added a single.
In the second game, Spack’s two-run single highlighted a three-run first inning that led Dovetail to the sweep.
Nick Lancisi led Dovetail with a triple, and Tyler Wilson had an RBI single.
Lavway, Barrett Dionne, and Willy Baird topped Union Street with a single each.
