LIVERMORE FALLS – A train derailment shut down the busiest intersection in town, causing problems for motorists Thursday morning.

Three engines pulling a 95-car train derailed at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Main Street, and it took about 15 hours to get the engines on track, make repairs and get traffic moving normally through this town 30 miles north of Lewiston.
