The National Board of Trial Advocacy has announced that Bangor trial attorney N. Laurence Willey Jr. has been awarded board recertification in civil trial advocacy. Willey is one of nine attorneys in Maine to have obtained board certification by the NBTA. He also serves as Maine’s representative to the NBTA. Willey has been practicing law in Bangor for 31 years. He is a former two-term Bangor mayor and city councilor, and he previously served as the governor’s representative to Canada. Willey is a past president of the Penobscot County Bar Association, and he presently serves as chairman of the Maine State Bar Association’s Community and Public Relations Committee. He is also an adjunct instructor at Husson College. Willey resides in Bangor with his family.

Michael J. Quinlan has been named branch manager and Rebecca Rouse has been named operations supervisor at the Presque Isle North Street branch of KeyBank. Before joining KeyBank, Quinlan was manager of Bank of America’s Waterville branch. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Thomas College in Waterville and a master’s in business administration from the University of Maine. Quinlan resides in Caribou. Rouse is responsible for sales and service leadership within the branch, as well as new client acquisition, referrals and operational and regulatory efficiency. Before joining KeyBank, she was head teller for First Citizens Bank, a division of Gardiner Savings Bank. Rouse was born and lives in Presque Isle.
