AARP University is a program designed to educate persons age 50 and older about important issues that affect health and wellness as they age. The Two-Track program will focus on personal and financial health, with many courses of interest to Baby Boomers and beyond. The program will be held Saturday, Sept. 22. Registration is at 8 a.m., the program runs 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Bangor High School.
Keynote speaker at the event will be Dr. Erik Steele. His topic will be “Strategies for Personal Empowerment.” A Plenary Session with Dr. Lucie Arbuthnot is also on the agenda. Her topic will be “Staying Mentally Sharp and Physically Fit.
One does not need to be an AARP member to attend the program.
