FARMINGTON – Kasey McPhail netted three goals to lead the University of Maine-Farmington to a 10-0 women’s soccer victory over Mitchell College (Conn.) Sunday.
Amber Murphy, Chelsea Norton and Hannah Carleton each scored a pair of goals while Ashley Tetreault added a goal for UMF. Kerry Kowalczyk and Ashley Holshouser faced no shots in goal for the Beavers.
Colleen Seymour stopped 15 shots for 1-5 Mitchell.
UM-Machias 10, Fisher 0
At Machias Sunday, Molly Kurz scored four goals as the Clippers rolled.
Sara Rushforth added three goals and two assists for 1-3-1 UM-Machias. Jess Woods scored twice and Aurra Paviault had a goal. Alicia Schmidt made two saves on four shots for the shutout.
Jordan Curao stopped two of 15 shots for 0-4 Fisher.
Saint Joseph’s 6, UMPI 0
At Standish Sunday, Mikayla Call scored two goals as the Monks rolled over the Owls.
Anna Flynn had a goal and an assist for St. Joseph’s. Anna Willis, Heidi Stucki and Whitney Linindoll each chipped in with a goal. Elizabeth Theberge, Brianna Jordan, Jillian Leger and Lauren Hagerman each had an assist. Katye Mayo didn’t face a shot on goal.
Billie Martin made 18 saves on 32 shots for UM-Presque Isle.
Maine 0, St. John’s 0 (2OT)
At Buffalo, N.Y., Sunday, neither Maine’s Jasmine Philips nor St. John’s Jiame Beran allowed a goal through two overtimes and regulation in the Buffalo Fall Soccer Tournament.
Philips made nine saves for 1-3-2 University of Maine.
Beran blocked two shots for St. John’s.
Keene State 7, Southern Maine 2
At Keene, N.H., Saturday, Kathleen Keniston and Katie Bradford both scored twice as Keene State earned the win.
Katelin Waltz, Jody Theirault and Renee Halsey also scored for 5-2 Keene State. Meghan Ibar blocked five of 15 shots.
Natasha Levandowski scored a goal and assisted the other for the 2-3 Huskies of Gorham. Caitlin Brown scored and Heidi DeHaan provided an assist. Alison Bradley made seven saves on 34 shots.
Saint Joseph’s 2, Emerson 1
At Boston Saturday, Mikayla Call put in two second-half goals to lift Saint Joseph’s of Standish over Emerson.
Anna Willis assisted on Call’s first goal for the 5-0 Monks. Katye Mayo blocked four shots.
Lindsay D’Andrea scored on a Casey Whalen assist at 70:20 in the second half for 2-2-1 Emerson. Katie Hartman made five saves.
UM-Presque Isle 2, Mitchell 0
At Presque Isle Saturday, Anna Delong and Katie Moody scored second-half goals as the Owls shut down Mitchell.

At Fort Kent Saturday, Maria Williams had two goals and three assists to help power the Bengals past Fisher.

WNEC 21, Maine Maritime 13
At Castine Saturday, the Mariners scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns but it wasn’t enough to rally for the win over Western New England College.
Golden Bears quarterback Justin Walz racked up 301 passing yards on 24 completions, threw for two touchdowns and ran for another. Maine Maritime’s Conor Callahan intercepted a Walz pass in the fourth but the Mariners couldn’t capitalize.
MMA also had good field position after forcing the Bears to punt late in the game but WNEC sacked Mariners quarterback Chris Kates to end the threat.
Maine Maritime’s Brandon Goodrich rushed for 108 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown run in the fourth. Tyler Angell completed six passes for 118 yards and a TD, while Travis Shaw caught four passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. Travis Fergola had 10 tackles and eight assists.

At Alfond Stadium in Orono on Saturday, quarterback Brett Davison passed for one touchdown and ran for another in the first quarter to spark the University of Maine Football Club cruised to its second straight victory.
Maine scored twice in the first quarter and three times in the second to blow the game open early.
Andy Michael scored twice in the second quarter on runs of 25 and 12 yards for the winners. Dustin Snow’s 29-yard field goal was the first in team history.
Matt Littlefield added an 11-yard TD run and Kevin Williams turned in a 10-yard punt return for a score.

Amy Weigle had 11 kills for 6-5 Texas State and Kacey Wimpy added 10 digs.
Lindsay Allman totaled nine kills and 12 digs to lead the 1-11 Black Bears. Jennifer Domer had nine kills. Jessica Wolfenden had 13 assists and Paige Tortorello added 12 assists.

Maine 3, Quinnipiac 2
At Hamden, Conn., Amy Zdrojesky scored a goal and assisted another to lead the University of Maine to victory over Quinnipiac University Sunday.
Nicole Emery and Erin Reusch added goals for the 3-4 Black Bears. Maygan Cassarino made eight saves on 16 shots.
Ann Marie Mangano scored both goals for 1-5 Quinnipiac. Megan Sciascia assisted the second goal. Jenna Grossman blocked six of 18 shots.
Maine 2, Brown 0
At Providence, R.I., Saturday, Kim MacDonald’s unassisted goal 6 minutes, 44 seconds into the game proved to be the game-winner as the 2-4 Black Bears earned the win.
Maine’s Erin Reusch added an insurance goal about eight minutes later and Rebecca Giroux made two saves on 11 shots.
Kristen Hodavance stopped two of eight shots for the 0-4 Bears.
USM 3, Western Conn. 1
At Danbury, Conn., Saturday, Alyssa Kraus, India Lowe and Missy Rivet staked the Huskies of Gorham to a 3-0 lead en route to a win over the Colonials.
Cristina Corson and Sara Winterbottom each earned an assist for 4-1 Southern Maine. Allie Hill made five saves on 11 shots.
Cortney Romyns scored for 2-4 Western Connecticut State and Christina Natale stopped nine of 18 shots.
St. Joseph’s 2, Husson 0
At Standish Saturday, Courtney Rague knocked in game-winning goal off an assist from Maria Arsenault in overtime as the Monks tipped the Eagles.
Arsenault paced 4-1 Saint Joseph’s with two goals and the winning assist. Darcey Ward had a goal and an assist. Julia Ostrowski and Gina Gaetani each contributed an assist and Kathleen Simoes had nine saves on 16 shots.
Sarah Hessert scored the game-tying goal for 1-2 Husson in the second half. Erica Dorso, who recorded three assists, helped out on Hessert’s penalty-corner goal. Skye Ellis scored twice and Kelly Bocchino stopped one of six shots.
Men’s soccer
UM-Machias 11, Fisher 0
At Machias Sunday, Anthony Martiniano and Tom Erlawbach each contributed two goals and two assists to lift the Clippers.
Andrew Hayes also scored twice for 1-3-1 UMaine-Machias. Isiah Eagles, Pat Corliss, Luke Oliver, Andrew Chatel and Kai Bailey scored. Adam Mauro and Kyle Lancaster combined for five saves on six shots.
Jesse Avales made nine saves on 23 shots for 0-4 Fisher.

At Waterville Saturday, neither Thomas goalie Russell Beckwith nor UMaine- Farmington goalie Brian Lemont allowed a goal through regulation and two overtimes as the teams settled for a tie.
Beckwith made eight saves on 13 shots for the 4-1-1 Terriers. Lemont stopped five of eight shots for the 1-0-1 Beavers.

At Farmington Sunday, Andy Knox’s unassisted goal at 58:20 was enough to seal the win for the Beavers.
Brian Lemont made four saves for the 1-0-2 Beavers.
Ryan West stopped four shots for 0-5-1 Mitchell.

At Bangor Sunday, the Eagles had a 24-5 edge in shots on goal over the Mariners but neither team could score through two overtimes.
Randy Bartlett made seven saves for Maine Maritime of Castine (3-2-1) and Miguel Dominguez stopped two shots for 0-5-1 Husson.
Husson’s Nate Carter put in a shot at the beginning of the first overtime but he was ruled offsides and the goal was called off.
NMCC 2, Unity 0
At Unity Saturday, Brandon Boulware and Nathan Manning-Harris each scored a goal to lead Northern Maine Community College past Unity.
Boulware scored on a penalty kick while Juan Loubier tallied an assist for NMCC.

At Waterville Sunday, Jim Grant of Thomas scored a goal 13 minutes into the second half tied the game for good through the rest of regulation and two overtimes.
Graham Twitchell scored the first two goals of the game for 5-2-1 Green Mountain. Zachary Fortuna blocked 10 of 16 shots.
Andrew Pelletier scored in the first half for 4-1-2 Thomas. Russell Beckwith made 10 saves on 15 shots.
USM 1, Keene State 0
At Gorham Saturday, Sinisa Bajic scored on a Greg Cox assist at 45:16 in the second half to lift the Huskies past Keene State.
David Kreps made three saves on 14 shots for 4-1-1 Southern Maine.
Cal Mintz stopped one of seven shots for 2-3-1 Keene State.
