Travel Report

The construction schedule for this week may cause delays. The schedule is tentative, based on weather conditions.

Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007

Beginning in the late afternoon, the existing lane closure in northbound I-95 will be extended to begin milling and paving operations. The existing closure begins at the Broadway bridge and extends to Stillwater Avenue bridge in the travel lane from Stillwater Avenue to the Hogan Road overpass. This extension is expected to be in place most of the week.

Monday, Sept. 17, 2007

The Hogan Road off-ramp will be closed beginning at 8 p.m. for milling; it will reopen by 5:30 a.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007

During the evening, work will continue on the Hogan Road. The off-ramp width will be reduced, but open. Work also will continue on the I-95 closure extension. It is the DOT’s intention to complete paving by morning.

Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007

The Hogan Road off-ramp will be closed beginning at 8 p.m. for paving; it will reopen by 5:30 a.m. Also, a lane closure will be set up in the northbound section of I-95 beginning at Cold Brook Road and extending to just south of I-395 for milling; the lane closure will remain in place until 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.

Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007

In the evening milling and paving will be done in the closure that was set up Wednesday.

Friday, Sept. 21, 2007

During the evening paving will continue in the closure; the closure will be removed by 7 a.m.

Bridge deck rehabilitation over Broadway (northbound and southbound) and Stillwater Avenue (northbound) will take place continually (most days and nights) until completed.
