ASHLAND – Senior Whitney Flint scored a career-high five goals as the undefeated Ashland Hornets improved their record to 7-0-1 with an 8-1 high school girls soccer victory over Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook Wednesday.
Flint also had an assist, while Crystal Cook had two goals and two assists, Jessica Jimmo had a goal and an assist and Jacky Raymond chipped in with an assist.
Rochelle Nadeau scored for Southern Aroostook.
Taylor Baker made three saves on four shots for Ashland. Emily Cummings made 12 saves on 28 shots for the 5-3 Warriors.
Presque Isle 6, Old Town 2
At Old Town Tuesday, Kayla Legassie scored three goals to lead the Wildcats to victory.
Brittany Bearden netted two goals and Carmen Allen added another for 5-0-2 Presque Isle, Sarah Porter posted three assists. Allisen Donovan and Kelsey Park faced five shots combined and made one save.
Katie Deshane tallied twice for the Coyotes (2-3), and Elise Jordan assisted on the second one. Annie Cashon made nine saves on 25 shots.

Rockland 4, Mount View 2
At Rockland, Baillie Boggs scored three goals as the Tigers improved their record to 3-4.
Two of Boggs’ goals were unassisted, while the third was assisted by Elsie Mason.
Brittany Ross added Rockland’s fourth goal on a penalty kick.
Caitlin Kupferman scored twice for Mount View of Thorndike, one on a penalty kick and the second on a goal that went in off a Rockland player.
Kayla McGuire made 14 saves on 17 shots for Rockland. Andrea Bryant made nine saves on 15 shots for 2-4-1 Mount View.
Searsport 6, PCHS 1
At Guilford, Kayla Garcelon scored a pair of goals and Tianna Faunce had another in the first 101/2 minutes to send Searsport on its way to its fifth win against three losses.
Sara Bradshaw, Paige Bradshaw and Shannon Higgins had the other Searsport goals and Sara Bradshaw also had an assist. Amanda Chaney made nine saves on 10 shots.
Christine Davis scored for 4-2 Piscataquis Community High of Guilford and Jill Martell made 15 saves.

At East Millinocket, Amanda Gifford racked up four goals as Lee Academy rolled to its seventh victory.
Aarika Ritchie and Brooke Harris had two goals apiece for the 7-0 Pandas while Jessica Arbo added another. Karin Bird saved 11 of 14 shots.
Tricia Hobbs and Leann Toothaker stopped 17 of 26 shots for 0-6 Schenck.

So. Aroostook 3, Ashland 3 (2OT)
At Ashland, Tyler Cote scored a goal for Ashland with 5:38 remaining in the game to force a tie with Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook through two overtimes.
Nick Gimbel and Jeremy Tarr each tallied a goal for Ashland. Lucas Belanger made 13 saves on 20 shots for the 6-1-1 Hornets.
Dakota Sleeper netted a pair of goals while Tyler Robinson scored one for Southern Aroostook. Colby Clark made 22 saves on 49 shots for the 4-3-2 Warriors.
Machias 3, Washington Acad. 2
At East Machias, Mike Little scored three goals in the second half as Machias erased a two goal deficit and edged rival Washington Academy.
Jacob Stevens contributed an assist for Machias while Justin Weaver made 16 saves on 24 shots for the 5-0-1 Bulldogs.
Joey Hunter notched a pair of unassisted goals for Washington Academy. Josiah Jackson made eight saves on 15 shots for the 4-1 Raiders.
Narraguagus 2, Shead 0
At Harrington, Jesse Worcester tallied a pair of goals to lead Narraguagus past Shead of Eastport.
Nate Best posted an assist for Narraguagus while Brandon Meserve made eight saves on 10 shots for the 2-3-1 Knights.
Nick Vinson stopped 13 of 17 shots for the 2-5 Tigers.
Orono 8, Searsport 0
At Orono, Brian Gracen-Malaue tallied three goals as Orono cruised past Searsport.
Ian Staples had two goals and assisted on two others for the 2-4 Red Riots. Nick Dimoulas and Brandon Paul each had a goal and assist and Paul Ohno added a goal. Nate Peterson stopped all four shots he faced.
Dan Peach stopped 16 of 24 shots for the 0-6 Vikings.
