STANDISH – Kayla Nowell scored two goals Thursday to lead Saint Joseph’s College to a 4-0 field hockey victory over Lasell College.
Julia Ostrowski had a goal and an assist for the Monks and Darcey Ward added a goal. Gina Gaetani, Jillian Kimball and Maria Arsenault each had an assist. Colleen Grant made four saves on four shots.
Laura Gallagher made four saves on 10 shots for Lasell.
Women’s soccer
Salem State 2, Southern Maine 1
At Salem, Mass., Cerissa Grasso staged a one-person rally with two goals in the second half to lead the Salem State College Vikings past the University of Southern Maine.
Abby DeAngelo made five saves on seven shots for the 2-5-1 Vikings. Katy Verrette and Erin O’Brien each had assists.
Samantha Rennie scored the only goal for the 4-4 Huskies of Gorham off an assist from Heidi DeHaan. Alison Bradley and Meghan Ibar combined to make 16 saves on 18 shots.
Unity 3, UM-Machias 0
At Machias on Wednesday, Frankie Dalton, Lisa Bates and Erin Balcon netted one goal apiece as the Clippers shut out the Rams.
Alicia Schmidt made four saves on 14 shots for 2-5-1 UMaine-Machias.
Lisa Attendorn made one save on three shots for 4-1-1 Unity.

UM-Machias 2, Unity 1
At Machias on Wednesday, Tom Erlawbach and Anthony Martiniano scored second-half goals eight minutes apart to lift UMaine-Machias to victory over Unity.
Adam Mauro made two saves on three shots for the 2-5-1 Clippers.
John Korkes scored for 3-3-1 Unity. Keith Sidle made four saves on 15 shots.
