BANGOR – The Maine Heritage Policy Center will launch the Maine Prosperity Luncheon, a public policy forum, starting at noon today at the Sea Dog Brewing Co., 26 Front St. The luncheon will be held the third Wednesday of each month. It will provide the public with a forum to discuss public policy solutions that will contribute to an economically prosperous Maine.

The speaker at today’s luncheon is Bill Becker, president and chief executive officer for The Maine Heritage Policy Center. His remarks are titled “Proposals for Fundamental Public Policy Changes to Strengthen Maine’s Economy.”

The cost of the event is $14 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity, payable at the door.
