DOVER-FOXCROFT – A local driver complained of neck pain Monday after her 2002 Toyota Prius rolled over on Route 15 at about 9:55 a.m.
When the car driven by Jeanna Hight, 22, drifted too far right in the driving lane, she “overcorrected” and ended up in the passing lane, according to Dover-Foxcroft police Officer Gary West. Hight, who was alone in the vehicle, then attempted to get back into the driving lane but overcorrected again, losing control of the car, the officer said. The vehicle rolled over onto its top, West said.
Hight told police she couldn’t recall what happened to cause the car to drift.
The car was demolished, and Hight, who was wearing a seat belt, complained of neck pain after the accident. While an ambulance from Mayo Regional Hospital was called to the accident scene, Hight chose to go to the hospital with her parents, whom she had called.
