ELLSWORTH – Stanley Subaru’s eight-member team won the third annual EdGE Open Tennis Tournament title at the Ellsworth Tennis Center Saturday and Sunday.

Stanley defeated the Downeast Office Products and Machias Savings Bank team 17-15 in Sunday’s final. Team members are Mark Politte, Ben Rowell, Carol Murray, Sarah Maxwell, Barbara Campbell, Deborah Dewalt, Nathanael Lee, and Jamie Thorman. The other two semifinalists were NewLand Nursery and R.H. Foster Inc.

Tournament proceeds benefit the Maine Sea Coast Mission’s EdGE after-school, in-school and summer programs.
