I want to thank your staff for the inspiring story of Mr. Chris Reardon of Dover-Foxcroft and his food kitchen (BDN, Oct. 26). We all need these kinds of stories on a daily basis, sort of like a cup of coffee for the heart, waking us up to what is really important in this life: each other!

That green carpet we all seem to be blindly striving for should at that right time in our lives bring us back to ourselves so that, individually or collectively, we can move this place in a much better direction!
