Samantha, born in 1993, is a bright and engaging girl who has many interests and strengths. She is compassionate and cares about the people and things around her and has a good sense of humor. Samantha is happiest when she is active and can participate in her favorite activities. She is a great swimmer, enjoys most sports and loves to travel.
Samantha enjoys singing. Her taste in music is varied; she says she likes all types. Samantha also loves to dance. She has been putting on “shows” for friends and family for many years. When she was 9, she choreographed a dance and performed it for her family. Samantha has attended dance, theater and wilderness adventure camps and enjoyed them all. She likes learning new creative outlets and ideas.
Samantha is very social. Like most girls her age, Samantha likes to hang out with her friends, listen to music, watch TV or just chat. Her friends consider her a good listener. Samantha is likable and makes friends easily. She is ready to help her friends when she can and will help out around the house. She is learning how to cook. Samantha is working hard on keeping her room clean and is getting better at staying organized.
Samantha likes school and is particularly good at math. She is a great problem-solver and is creative in her ideas.
Samantha loves animals. She has had a goldfish since summer and is responsible for its care. She cleans the tank, feeds the fish and changes its water. Her creative name for the fish is Bear. Samantha recently caught a frog in the yard and came home to make it a frog house. She took much time, energy and imagination to design the frog house. However, once she realized the frog would be happier and healthier outside, she returned it to the yard.
Samantha will benefit greatly from a family that can provide her with a sense of belonging. She would like a family that would keep her involved in the activities she loves. Samantha will do best in a family that is active and enjoys doing things together.
